Q: Why would I choose a VET instead of going to University?
A: it’s a personal choice, however a VET course will allow you to learn while you earn as we work around your work life. And there is no need to do years of study to achieve the qualification you are seeking. In addition we partner with Universities if you decide you want to take study further so you just never know where a VET qualification might take you.

Q: I have read the course information – Im ready to enrol – do I have to pay immediately?
A: No. We will only send an invoice or require payment 10 business days from the start of the course.

Q: What Do I need to enrol?
A: Importantly a USI which if you don’t already have one is free and can be obtained right here it is required to do any form of study in Australia.

Q:Can I start after an Intake has already begun?
A: In many cases, yes. Just call us or email support@proleaders.com.au and we will do our utmost to find a way to connect you to our next course.

Q:How do I pay for a course?
A:Payment can be made in various ways – via single payment by Direct debit, by invoicing if you are a business or government department or by way of a study loan or agreed Pro Leaders Academy Payment Plan

Q: Are study loans available?
A: Yes, for individuals who wish to study with us, loans are available. Please be aware this is a third party finance provider and fees do apply. We always recommend you seek expert advice before signing any financial documents. Criteria must be met, and you can find out more here.

Q: Are the qualifications recognised?

A: Absolutely! Not just as a recognised qualification but by businesses and industry associations. This recognition can help in career paths and employment opportunities!

Q: How does my employer pay for this course?
A: As an RTO that delivers to many businesses and government departments, we provide a invoicing option. Employers may pay a deposit and installments as we deliver the training blocks. For Short courses and other courses payment is required 10days PRIOR to the course beginning.

Q: I am an employer – can I put a group of people through your courses?
A: We often do this – sometimes it is a case of 2-3 people joining our public courses, and sometimes we run the courses specific to businesses who have up to 16 people they wish to train. In our experience 16 people is an ideal number allowing for quality learning with the sharing of ideas and enough individual facilitator interaction with each course participant

Q: I run a team – can you come to us for training?

A: Yes- we have experience and fully qualified trainer in most Capital cities in Australia. For remote areas, we are happy to travel and train people in groups. For those 1 or 2 people who might be remote, we have a great option with Zoom Room! They join us in a virtual room and participate as though they are in the classroom.

Q: As Government department – are you an approved provider?
A: Yes- we sit on a number of panels as an approved provider, do feel free to give us a call if you require more information.

Q: Are you a Registered Training Organisation?
A: Yes we are an RTO is a training provider registered by ASQA (or a state regulator) to deliver VET services. RTOs provide quality training and qualifications that are nationally recognised. … Only RTOs can:deliver nationally recognised courses within the accredited Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) VET qualifications. As an RTO we can offer qualifications at the following levels:

  • Certificates I, II, III and IV
  • Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma
  • Graduate Certificate
  • Graduate Diploma.

Q: What happens if I am not able to complete the course material in the time allocated?
A: We recognise that due to reasons of illness, deployment, changes in role and other unforeseen situations, completing a course can be challenging. With a range of options such as brief extensions, remote learning and additional support, we are confident we can accommodate most situations. Because everyone is different, we recommend anyone facing this situation contact us at the earliest opportunity so we can assist.

Q: When is your next course starting?
A: Our short courses repeat throughout the year. We have various Intake periods for Public Certificates and Diplomas. If you find you have just missed one, do get in touch, we might be able to catch you up, or get you into the next course.

Q: how much does each course cost?
A: Prices vary depending on the course. Each course price can be found on the relevant Course page.

Q: How are assessments managed?
A: As a team, we fully understand the challenge of Time! One of the reasons our courses are so successful and attractive is that the Assessment process is generally included in the course block. This means the time is already allocated as part of your course allowing you the best opportunity to complete it!

Q: Do I have homework?
A: We try to keep homework to a minimum, – we know you are likely already time poor! We sometimes ask for you to do some work PRIOR to starting as this helps move things along in class really well and aids in the assessment process. Your Course facilitator will let you know.

Q: RPL- recognised prior learning – how do I get my experience assessed towards a qualification
A: We recognise many smart people are working in their chosen careers and perhaps through lack of time or opportunity havent been able to secure a qualification that recognises their ability and knowledge. This is when RPL can be a benefit. Find out more about the RPL process here
